Three Trees has studied music and art from an early age; while playing bass
in various rock bands touring across the US and Peru; the desire for
spiritual fulfillment eventually led to a vision quest that gave him his name.
These journeys created a path of personal healing. Practicing Mystic and
Shamanic Arts for the last twenty years created a synergy between healing
and music.
Three Trees has explored several sound healing techniques from African,
North and South American Masters. His intention is to create music that
heals by integrating ancient and modern healing sounds that move the
audience into a trance of global beat and melody. He uses this integration
to create a system of healing that he teaches to large groups in drumming
workshops. He works with many organizations including the Chopra Center;
creating an environment for the participants to explore the joy, healing and
timelessness of drumming.
Three Trees resides in Sedona, Arizona where he teaches Shamanic Sound
Healing and West African, Middle Eastern and Spirit drumming. Three Trees
also makes and plays many instruments including Drums, Didgeridoos &
Native American Flutes. Currently, he is apprenticing with acclaimed
sculptor John Soderberg; creating a bronze sculpture depicting an African
Shamanic healing.
