One thing i enjoy most about life is a variety of endeavors. I love working in the field of music, and feel very blessed to make a living doing what I love. I am inspired every day by getting to work with the most amazing musicians and performers in the world. There is no end to the talent and beauty that comes from people who spend their life making music!
I totally enjoy being in the world of Starlight Orchestras where I get to collaborate with the most wonderful team of people. Over the years, it changes and grows and transforms, and each incarnation of this company is even better than before. It is my intent to learn from those around me, and to continue to enhance our products and our organization, all toward the goal of uplifting ourselves and others. I recognize that we attract people, place and opportunities that are in vibrational alignment with where we are, and that different people come and go in our lives based on what we need to learn and experience. I am grateful for all of the associations and collaborations I have had over the years.
So I run Starlight, co-produce live bands for private events, play electric guitar, and lead "the Starlight Experience," (an 18 piece dance and party band for private events…such as Superbowl 2011!)
while helping people plan their weddings and other amazing parties. I recently started a music publishing company Valrock Music, which has become home to my other personna, "Vitamin V." In the world of Vitamin V, I compose and produce original music, and have been concentrating lately on "Transformational Music," using crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bells and other interesting instruments to work with our energy centers. My CD "Healing Music for Massage, Meditation and Transformation," is being used for relaxation, massage and healing arts. I am currently working on a new album of Music for Yoga with my longtime friend, 92 year old Tao Porchon-Lynch.
Still also love playing and writing the funky up-tempo music that I have favored all my life.
All the while I have been a seeker, and my path has led me to many forms of esoteric studies, and pursuits of mind-body-spirit wellness. My goal is to fully enjoy all the steps on THE JOURNEY of life, and to remember that the joy is in the journey and not necessarily the outcome.
I am thankful for my family (adored children, beloved lifepartner, beautiful parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and all of the grandparents with me in spirit.) I am grateful for my friends, guides, teachers, colleagues.
I love Sedona and I visit every chance I get. I love my friends out here, especially my dear one Pat Krause, and I remember the times wiht our dear friend Rachel Lunt when she was still with us. I am so very proud of my song "Rachel's Knoll" that I wrote last year in honor of Rachel and Pat and the work they did for humanity.
I am also IMMENSELY grateful for all of my BAND-MATES!!!!
Looking at the facebook page for my Healing Music CD (www.facebook.com/HealingMusicC) I can say that possibly for the first time, I seem to have FANS, and this delights me to no end. Every day I log on just to look through the names of these people I do not know, have never met, who have found their way to the the music I have created, and who leave me the most wonderful comments. Wow. I am truly blessed.
